The eighth (annual) session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly has been convened. Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar has convened the eighth session on the recommendation of the government to be held on Baisakh 17 at 1 pm.
Provincial Assembly Secretary Durlabh Kumar Pun, while making a public announcement on Monday, said that the meeting has been convened in accordance with Article 166, Clause (2) and Article 183, Clause (1) of the Constitution.
The winter session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly ended on Baisakh 10 with the passage of 4 bills. 16 meetings were held in the seventh session of the Provincial Assembly.
The eighth session will formulate and pass the government's policies and programs, budget for the coming year.
