Relief has been distributed to the victims of the fire that broke out in Pratappur Rural Municipality-5, Bhairampur, West Nawalparasi on Tuesday.
When Govinda Chamar's house caught fire on Tuesday afternoon, 11 houses of his neighbors were destroyed.
The victims have been provided with food items worth Rs 6,500, tarpaulin and Rs 15,000 in cash, said Pratappur Rural Municipality Chairman Umesh Chandra Yadav.
The municipality has stated that the Disaster Management Committee of the rural municipality will meet on Wednesday to recommend relief for the victims whose houses were destroyed in the fire and coordinate with supporting organizations for relief assistance.
