The Lumbini Provincial Assembly meeting has sent the ‘Bulletin on the Establishment and Operation of Lumbini Pragya Pratishthan’ to the Finance, Industry and Tourism Committee for clause-wise discussion. The 12th meeting of the seventh session held on Sunday sent the bill to the committee for clause-wise discussion.

The bill was presented by Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Bhumishwar Dhakal on behalf of Minister for Industry, Tourism and Transport Prachanda Bikram Neupane in the meeting. Similarly, the Chairperson of the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee Dil Kumari Budha has submitted the committee’s annual report to the assembly.

It has been informed that the 13th meeting of the seventh session will now be held at 1 pm on Monday. In the meeting on Sunday, Provincial Assembly members have warned against the federal government’s preparations to abolish the student organization. Provincial Assembly member Ratna Bahadur Khatri, speaking in the meeting, asserted that the root of Nepal’s educational problems lies not in the student organization but in the education system.

In the meeting, Provincial Assembly members Basiuddin Khan, Meena Kumari Shrestha, Tulsiram Sharma, Chandrakesh Gupta, Bhandari Lal Ahir, Bhagwati Adhikari, Badshah Kurmi, Chintamani Pandey drew the government's attention to the issue, saying that the expected achievements in the agricultural sector had not been achieved.
