The 'Nawalparasi Heritage Cycle Tour-2083' has been completed in West Nawalparasi to promote tourism and historical areas.

A 70-kilometer-long cycle tour was organized by the Nawalparasi Cycle Riders Club on the occasion of World Heritage Day. More than 100 cyclists from seven districts including Nawalpur and Rupandehi participated.

The tour, which started from Sunwal, passed through Ramgram Stupa, Buddhamangal Lake in Bardaghat, Kanchangadhi, Bandevi Temple, Bardaghat Bazaar, Bhumahi, Baba Bardagoria, Kirtipur area and ended in Sunwal.

Welcoming the cyclists, Mayor of Bardaghat Municipality Shambhulal Shrestha said that the cycle tour would help in promoting important heritage sites in the district.

Club Secretary Vasudev Poudel said that the cycling trip was organized with the aim of promoting the heritage sites in the district at the national and international levels.
