His body was found in the middle of the Kaligandaki River, according to the police. The District Police Office has stated that the search for the missing 39-year-old Sharan Bhusal is ongoing.
The police, under the command of a police inspector, reached the spot after locals informed them that he had drowned while swimming at around 5 pm on Tuesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Homaprakash Chaudhary said that the police and local residents searched the banks of the Kaligandaki River.
Krishna Bhusal, a local of Baganaskali Rural Municipality-9, Chappani Jhirbhanjyang, informed that the search operation has been going on in the Kaligandaki River since Wednesday morning. The missing person is a teacher of engineering at Chandra Secondary School, Chappani. Bhusal had returned from abroad on vacation.
