To reduce accidents in the district, drivers have started to be tested on the road. Drivers coming to the district headquarters Tamghas from the western region underwent eye tests on Thursday.
The eye test program organized in coordination with the District Police Office, Gulmi and the District Traffic Police Office, Gulmi was facilitated by the Nepal Netrajyoti Sangh District Eye Treatment Center, Gulmi. In which, 101 drivers and co-drivers were tested, informed the Chief Superintendent of Police, Gulmi District Police Office, Narayan Prasad Adhikari.
'When there is a problem with the driver's eyes, the risk of accidents increases,' he said, 'The eye test is being conducted to reduce accidents.' A team from the eye treatment center was deployed for the eye test.
Vehicles entering the district headquarters Tamghas from the western region were stopped at the Tamghas entrance, Udindhunga Berial area, and the drivers' eyes were tested.
