A free health camp with specialist doctors is being held in Gulmi. The Ghamir Sports and Cultural Youth Club is going to organize a large-scale free health camp in Malika Rural Municipality-7 Ghamir here.
Speaking at a press conference in the district headquarters Tamghas on Saturday, the club secretary Govinda Karki informed that the camp to be held on Chaitra 21 will be attended by orthopedic and transplant specialist Dr. Ramesh Aryal, senior consultant physician gold medalist Dr. Suman Acharya, ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. Santosh Basnet, MDGP Dr. Sunil Sunar and medical officers Vijay Pandey, Santosh Pandey and Ashish Bhurtel.
ECG, video X-ray and free medicines will be distributed in the camp. Everyone has been requested to avail services from the free health camp. Club president Suman Panthi said that the camp is being organized from the club's savings. "There are those who are forced to hide their illnesses in the village due to financial constraints and various other reasons," he said. "The camp is being held in the village with the presence of a specialist doctor. Everyone is requested to avail the services." He said that this time the camp will be organized from the club's savings without collecting any financial amount from anyone.
The camp will be held in the premises of Malika Rural Municipality-7, Ghamir, Bhanu Pokhara Devisthan Secondary School. The club has stated that all the residents of Malika village are expected to avail the services in the camp to be held in Ghamir.
