Two people have been injured after being struck by lightning in Juthapauwa, Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-6, Palpa. Similarly, six houses in the village have been damaged.
Juthapauwa ward member Ok Bahadur Raskoti informed that 13-year-old Sharmila Bik and 33-year-old Dhani Langtage Magar were injured in a lightning strike accompanied by strong winds.
Sharmila fainted and was immediately brought to the United Mission Hospital in Tansen for treatment. Rural Municipality Chairman Rukmagat Bhattarai reached the Mission Hospital on Wednesday and inquired about Bik's health condition. According to him, her health has gradually improved.
