The Nepali Army has prepared a 161-kilometer trek in the forts and forts of Palpa. The Nepali Army is going to trek this year as well, starting from Keladi Ghat in Rampur Municipality and ending at Bakumgadhi in Purbakhola, Mathagadhi in Hattilung, Pravas in Tansen Municipality (Tansen) and Jitgadhi in Tinau Rural Municipality (Nuwakot Palpa). 

According to Shanta Kumar Thapa, Chief of The Famous Mahindra Dal Battalion, the trek is being organized for the fourth time to identify the trekking route used by Prithvi Narayan Shah during the unification of the state. 

The trek will be held from Baisakh 2 to 7. The unification trek will start from Keladi Ghat in Rampur Municipality and end at Nuwakot (Tinau, Palpa). The army team will depart from Gorkha on Chaitra 27 for the ‘Historical Gorkha-Jitgadhi’ trek.

The same team is scheduled to be welcomed at Keladi Ghat in Rampur Municipality. After that, the Famous Mahindra Dal Battalion of Palpa will trek to the forts and forts of the district, said soldier Dil Bahadur Rana Magar. The trek will end on Baisakh 7 after reaching Jitgadhi in Rupandehi. There will be 53 people in the team. Local residents, public representatives, school students, and representatives of the Tol Bikash Sangha will welcome and bid farewell at various places.

It will start from Keladi in Rampur and will reach Bakumgadhi via Laxminarayan's historical Pauwa, Devisthan, Sitakunda, Beldanda, Siluwa, Jabgadi, and Birkot. From Bakumgadhi, it will reach Mathagadhi via Tahu, Humin, Devinagar, Muntung, Kerauli, Jhadeva, Jagat, and Gothadi. Similarly, from Mathagadhi, it will travel through Harnetar (Jhadeva), Marmara, Sikarkot (Kaseni), Damar, Eklebar Sarai, and Damkada (Tansen). On the fourth day, the trek will start from Bartung Tansen, Ranujireshwari Bhagwati Temple and then return to Kajipauwa via Dumre, Masyam, Sisne, Marek Jhumsa, Dobhan and reach Nuwakot Gadhi, according to the Nepali Army's The Famous Mahindra Dal Battalion. The trek will conclude on the last day by traveling from Nuwakot to Jitgadhi. 

Mayor of Tansen Municipality Santosh Lal Shrestha said that the trek will strengthen the relationship between the Nepali Army and the local people. The municipality and the rural municipality will welcome, felicitate, honor, participate in the cultural tableau display and trek. It is believed that the interest of the general public in the glorious history of the Nepali Army will increase, while Rambha Rural Municipality Chairman Bishnu Prasad Bhandari said that it will be easy for the descendants to get information about what happened in the past. Purba Khola Rural Municipality Chairman Nun Bahadur Thapa said that the trek will also help in promoting tourism. He said that the trek will also inform future generations about the brave warriors who defeated the British army and what happened during the unification. 

Mathagadhi Rural Municipality Chairman Yama Chidi said that the participation of ordinary citizens, local residents, and people's representatives in the trek will increase its importance. It is believed that the local level will show interest in preserving historical forts and forts.

Kamalraj Timilsena, Chairman of the Federation of Journalists, Palpa, said that it will also help increase the affinity of local residents towards the forts and forts. Ashok Maharjan, Chairman of the Bhagwati Guthi Management Committee, said that the trek will help in making the relationship between the Nepali Army and the citizens harmonious. Sagarman Maharjan, Chairman of Tansen Municipality Ward No. 6, said that this trek should be successful and made more effective from the experience and learnings of the past three treks.
