The bodies of two Indian tourists who went missing after drowning in the Tinau River in Tinau Rural Municipality-3 of Palpa on Sunday have been found.

The bodies of 17-year-old Fahran Ansari and 17-year-old Aman Ansari from Santakbir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India have been found. The two went missing while bathing at the dam side in Tinau-3 on Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, Fahran Ansari's body was found about 100 meters below the place where he disappeared in the river around 10 am on Monday. Assistant Chief District Officer Rishiram Subedi informed that the body of Aman Ansari was also found nearby around noon.

The other five people who were traveling with them are safe. The police said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing. The police, the armed forces and a diving team of the armed forces had been searching since Sunday.
