75-year-old Gyaneshwor Pandey of Resunga Municipality-3 in the district was found dead near the road leading to Gaushala, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Gulmi. He was found dead at 2 pm on Saturday.
His family, his wife and son, were staying in shelter near Tamghas Chidichaur. Later, they were living in the Gaushala area. The deceased Pandey, on the other hand, was living in turns with his children.
He died after falling on Saturday while going to Gaushala with his wife and son. The police had received information that he fell 10-15 meters and died on the spot. After that, a police team led by Police Inspector Sudeep Nepali was deployed from the District Police Office, Gulmi to the spot. The body is being brought to Gulmi Hospital for postmortem. The police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
