A woman has been found dead in Gulmi. A raid by Malika Rural Municipality-5 of the district found Bimala Sunar, 44, a resident of Ward No. 7, dead on the inner unpaved road leading from Rangla to Painyakhark in Rangla.
Her husband and locals from the scene reported that she died on the ground about 50 meters below the ground, assuming that she had fallen and was injured.
A two-person police team was deployed from the ISMA police station. After that, a police team led by Police Inspector Sudip Nepali was deployed from the District Police Office to the scene.
The body has been brought to Gulmi Hospital for postmortem. During further investigation, the police have taken the tractor and the driver, Lu 4 Ta 7555, under the suspicion that she died after being hit by a tractor.
Further details are yet to be revealed. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Gulmi, informed that further investigation is underway.
