Three people have been injured in a lightning strike in Gulmi. Three people were injured in a lightning strike in Malika Rural Municipality-2, Darling on Friday.
According to the police, 32-year-old Goma Khadka, 28-year-old Niru Khadka, and 29-year-old Bishnu Khadka of Darling were injured, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The injured have been brought to Gulmi Hospital for treatment. Police have stated that one of the injured is unconscious.
A police team led by Deputy Inspector of Police Lakhanlal Chaudhary was deployed to the scene from Police Post Paundiamarai. The injured were given primary treatment at Lumbini Bami Hospital, Bami Taksar.
In addition, three goats died due to lightning at the same place.
