A woman scooter driver died after being hit by a tipper in Tulsipur on Thursday evening.
Pushpa Kandel, aged around 40, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-9, died when an unknown tipper hit her scooter (number Ra 6 Pa 6331) heading west from Tulsipur. The number of the tipper could not be traced as it fled the scene, according to the Tulsipur Area Police Office.
The Tulsipur-Surkhet road has been blocked following the incident. Relatives of the deceased have blocked the road by throwing stones and setting fire to it.
