The red-flowered Laligurans have blossomed in the historical, religious and touristic area of Resunga. Like in previous years, this year too, the number of people visiting Resunga is increasing due to the beauty of the Laligurans.

However, in recent times, after complaints of people enjoying the Laligurans forest and picking flowers and even damaging the plants, the Resunga Municipality has urged the protection of all plants, including Laligurans.

'There have been complaints that dignitaries visiting various places for religious and tourist purposes, such as Tapobhubi, Devbhoomi, Punyabhoomi, and Amritbhoomi, which are famous for their religious, historical, and touristic glory, have broken and damaged the branches of various species of trees including Laligurans, which have damaged the beautiful natural beauty of the Resunga area,' Mall's Chief Administrative Officer Baburam Palli said in a statement, 'This has reduced the natural beauty of the place. Therefore, the municipality sincerely requests that no one should commit any unholy act that would reduce or degrade the glory and natural beauty of Resunga. Cooperation from all stakeholders is also expected in this regard.'

A few days ago, a tourist visiting the Resunga area picked up the trees, broke their branches, and even damaged the trees. Resunga Municipality has drawn attention to this matter in this way.
