A massive cleanup was conducted in Ghorahi on Wednesday. The cleanup, led by the District Administration Office and the District Police Office, involved the participation of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Election Police, and various social organizations.

The roads and roadsides of Ghorahi Bazaar were widened and garbage was collected. Chief District Officer Bishwaprakash Aryal, District Police Chief SP Deepak Shrestha, and other government and non-government sector leaders of the district participated in the cleanup program.

District Police Chief SP Shrestha said that the cleanup program was organized according to the community-police partnership concept. He informed that more than 700 people participated in the cleanup campaign. He said that a massive cleanup program was conducted in various places in Ghorahi Bazaar with the main slogan 'Safe, Clean and Beautiful Dang, Civilized Citizens are Our Identity'.

The Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City, Jwala Dal Battalion Ghorahi, Armed Police Force Nepal Prison Security Base Ghorahi, Dang District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lions Club of Ghorahi City, Rotary Club of Dang, Tribhuvan Nagar Jaycees, Community Service Center Ghorahi Dang, and Lotus Training Center Ghorahi also participated in the campaign.
