Iron benches have been placed in the premises of Mayadevi Temple for pilgrims and tourists. Five benches have been placed with the aim of helping tourists and pilgrims who come to visit and observe the temple to sit/relax.

The benches were constructed by the Lumbini-based Mahabodhi Society of India branch at a cost of 40 thousand and handed over to the Lumbini Development Fund, said Bhikkhu B. Nanda Thero, head of the Lumbini branch of the Mahabodhi Society of India.
