According to Gehendra Kunwar, Information Officer of Lumbini Province Election Office, Dang, the invalidation percentage is 4.25.  The highest number of invalidations has been registered in Constituency No. 1 in the district. Where 4,057 votes out of 80,446 votes were cast were invalidated.

Similarly, in Constituency No. 3, 3,776 votes out of 88,617 votes were invalidated, while in Constituency No. 2, 2,865 votes out of 82,305 votes were invalidated.  However, the number of invalid votes has decreased in this election compared to previous elections in the district. In the 2079 BS election, out of 414,956 votes cast, 14,709 votes were invalidated. Which was 5.92 percent.

In the past, there used to be problems with election symbols when elections were held between coalition parties, but now there is no such problem, so the number of invalid votes may have decreased somewhat, said Information Officer Kunwar. However, he said that it has not decreased significantly.
