A young man has drowned while fishing. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of the District Police Office Gulmi, informed that 21-year-old Deepjung Darlami of Areba, Musikot Municipality-1, Gulmi, has drowned.
He went missing while two people were fishing. After the police received the news, a police team was involved in the search operation.
During the search, the body of the young man was found drowning in the water of the Kopchera of the Badigad River. A police team under the command of Police Inspector Sudip Nepali was deployed from the District Police Office for investigation.
The body has now been brought to the Gulmi District Hospital for postmortem. The police have stated that further investigation is underway.
