According to the preliminary details received from the Returning Officer's Office, Sunar has received 11,698 votes so far, while a total of 3,445 votes have been counted in Banke Constituency No. 3. His nearest competitor, CPN (UML) candidate Suman Malla, has received 715 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Amar Singh Pun is in third place. He has received 541 votes so far.
