In the House of Representatives elections held on Falgun 21, 60.59 percent of the votes were cast in Bardiya.
A total of 195,870 (60.59 percent) votes were cast in both constituencies, including 109,507 women, 86,361 men and 2 others, said Anup Dhakal, Information Officer of the District Election Office.

The counting center has been set up at the District Coordination Committee meeting hall in Gulariya of Constituency No. 1 and the Rajapur Customs Office in Constituency No. 2. The main election, Manoj Shrestha said, is collecting ballot boxes. He said that after the collection of ballot boxes, the counting of votes will begin as per the decision of the all-party meeting.
