The security agencies have said that they are fully prepared to make the election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on 21 Falgun free, fair and free from fraud. They have appealed to the voters to reach the polling station with confidence and vote for the candidate and party of their choice.
At the special election interview program organized by the Reports Club in Sandhikharka, Chief Election Officer Shivlal Pandey said that all the employees including polling officers are going to the polling station and the polling places are being prepared.
He said that the work of polling station management, staff mobilization and necessary material management has reached the final stage. He said that after the voting is over, the results of the candidates will be made public within 24 hours of the start of the counting after the ballot boxes reach the counting center.
Chief District Officer Toyanarayan Subedi said that all security arrangements have been made for the voters from their homes to the polling station. He urged people to immediately report any unusual behavior such as threatening, harassing, or coercing people while going to or returning from the polling station to the security agencies.
Subedi said that the cooperation of all parties is necessary to conduct the election in a dignified and orderly manner.
