Narayan Prasad Acharya, a CPN-UML candidate for the House of Representatives from Palpa Constituency No. 1, has suffered a bereavement. Acharya's father, Dilli Prasad Acharya, passed away on Sunday at the age of 92.

The late Acharya was born on Kartik 26, 1990. The late Acharya has four sons and three daughters. Family sources have stated that the last rites of the late Acharya will be performed at Ram Nadi Dham located on the Kaligandaki River. 

Candidate Acharya was busy with election campaigning and door-to-door activities in his constituency when his father Acharya passed away. Candidate Acharya is contesting for the second time as a member of the House of Representatives from Palpa Constituency No. 1.
