The driver of a tipper truck heading from the Sarvottam Cement mine to the factory has died in an accident.
The tipper truck (Lu 2 Kha 2001) carrying stones from the Chundhunga mine in Siddeshwor, Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-1, met with an accident in Basel Gaira, Somadi Rural Municipality-2, according to the police.
The driver, 34-year-old Khim Bahadur Somai Magar, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately rescued and sent to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas. The doctors declared him dead during treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Hom Prakash Chaudhary, Information Officer of the District Police Office.
