The Election Office has added two temporary polling stations in Palpa for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Earlier, 251 polling stations were set up in 118 polling stations in this district, which has two constituencies.

District Election Officer Mahesh Sharma said that 120 polling stations have been set up by adding two polling stations. There are 1,923 voters in the two temporary polling stations. Temporary polling stations have been set up for prisoners, other employees and security personnel in the Tansen District Jail. Temporary polling stations have been set up in The Famous Mahendra Dal Gana and the prison in Tansen. There are 69 voters in the prison under the two temporary polling stations and 1,854 voters in the polling stations under the Mahendra Dal Gana.

More than 2,000 employees will be deployed to conduct the election in 251 permanent and 253 temporary polling stations in Palpa, which has two constituencies. More than 1,500 employees will be deployed at those centers, while more than 500 volunteers will be deployed at polling stations. In area number 1, there are 117 polling stations in 52 polling stations. In area number 2, there are 134 polling stations in 66 polling stations. District Election Officer Mahesh Sharma said that preparations are underway to deploy one polling officer, one assistant polling officer, three assistant employees and one assistant at each center. Along with the election employees, two volunteers will be deployed at each polling center with less than 500 voters and three volunteers will be deployed at centers with more than 500 voters. There is a provision for the volunteers to be appointed by the polling officer.
