In a written agreement signed between the UML and the ML on Tuesday in Ghorahi, it was agreed that the ML would support the UML in all constituencies of the district in this election.
It has been agreed that the two parties will make maximum efforts for cooperation in the upcoming provincial and local level elections. The agreement was signed by UML Lumbini Provincial Committee member Hukum Bahadur Basnet, District Vice-President Manohar Budhathoki, and ML Polibureau member Mahendra Shah and District Secretary Netraprakash Pandey. 
UML is fielding Central Accounts Commission member Rewatiraman Sharma in Dang-1, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel in Dang-2, and Central Member Ghanshyam Pandey in Dang-3. The ML did not field any candidates in Dang.
