A jeep coming from Ghorahi in Dang towards Bagmara in Parivartan Rural Municipality of Rolpa met with an accident near Dahaban in Rolpa.
A woman died in a jeep accident at Khumbas, Runtigadhi Rural Municipality-5, on Tuesday morning, according to police. The Tata Sumo jeep bearing number Lu1J 4854, which was traveling from Dang in the morning with about 14 passengers, fell off the road. Police said that 24-year-old Bishnumaya Budha Magar of Parivartan-6 in Rolpa died in the accident.
The 12 people injured in the accident have been sent to the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Dang for treatment, according to the District Police Office, Rolpa. The police said that an investigation is underway into the reason why the jeep fell off the easy road.
The road falls under the Shahid Marg. The accident site is about 90 kilometers southwest of Libang, the Rolpa district headquarters.
