Candidates from neighboring Arghakhanchi district have arrived in Kapilvastu seeking votes.

CPN-UML candidate Pitambar Bhusal held a program in Jitpur in Banganga Municipality of the district on Tuesday to seek votes for the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

He had held a program at the Kulapani Committee meeting hall and presented his policies, plans and programs. He said that he had organized a program targeting voters in Arghakhanchi and residing in Banganga Municipality of Kapilvastu and sought votes.

A few days ago, he had held a program in Chandrauta of Shivraj Municipality of the district and sought votes from voters. Similarly, Bishnu Prasad Khanal, who became a candidate from the Nepali Congress in Arghakhanchi, has returned after holding a program in Jitpur in Banganga Municipality and seeking votes.

The candidates said that they had come here to seek votes because Arghakhanchi voters reside in Banganga, Buddhabhumi and Shivraj municipalities of Kapilvastu. There is only one constituency in Arghakhanchi.
