Nine passengers were injured in a bus accident in Chisapani, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-3, on Monday along the Ghorahi-Lamahi road section.
Six men and three women were injured when a bus (Lu 2 Kha 3277) heading from Lamahi to Ghorahi overturned. Seven of the injured are receiving treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi, and two are receiving treatment at Lamahi, said District Police Spokesperson DSP Resham Bohara.
He said that the bus driver, Keshar Bahadur Pun, 35, of Rapti Rural Municipality-5, Sisahania, has been taken into custody and the incident is being investigated. Bohara informed that since the bus overturned on the road, only one-way traffic is currently being operated.
