Rupandehi Leelaram and New Horizon College emerged victorious in the district-level inter-college SAI Global T-20 cricket tournament being held here on Wednesday. Leelaram defeated SAI Global College 'B' by 28 runs and Horizon defeated Moonlight by 63 runs in the matches held at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground here.
Rupandehi Leelaram, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 131 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Leelaram's Ramesh Kurmi scored an unbeaten 23, Faizan Musalman scored 22, Ajay Kewat scored 16, Karan Yadav scored 12 and Harikesh Murau scored 10 runs. Sai Global 'B's Bishnu Kataria and Aman Singh Gharti took 2-2 wickets each and Biraj Yadav and Arav Singh Poudel took 1-1 wickets.
In reply, Sai Global 'B' lost all their wickets in 18 overs and scored only 103 runs. Sai Global's Vikash Yadav scored 45, Bishnu Kataria scored 21 and Abhishek Sunar scored 16 runs. Leelaram's Karan Yadav scored 4, Prem Sagar Yadav scored 2 and Harikesh Murau, Ramesh Kurmi scored 1-1 wickets.
