A suspicious object that appears to be a press dog bomb was found near Mankhola on the East-West Mahendra Highway on Tuesday morning.
Police have said that the suspicious object was found covered in plastic near a river in Basgadhi Municipality-3.
Chief District Officer Gogan Bahadur Hamal said that the army removed the suspicious object found at around 6:30 am and threw it in a field. He said that initial investigation showed that it was not a bomb but a pressure cooker.
Similarly, the police have removed the rope and cloth placed to block traffic on the Hulaki Road section in Gulariya Municipality-1.
