Preparations have been completed for the HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer, which will begin on Sunday.

2043 girls will be vaccinated in Palpa, informed the acting chief of the Health Office, Palpa, Tuk Prasad Pokharel.

Girls from 196 community schools and 31 institutional schools in 10 local levels are going to be vaccinated.

1,995 students studying in grade 6 in Palpa will be vaccinated. Similarly, 35 students from grades 7 to 10, 12 out-of-school children aged 10 and one out-of-school girl aged 11 to 14 will receive the vaccine.

The Health Office has stated that the campaign will be conducted in Palpa from Magh 25 to Falgun 2.

The health office has stated that 408 people will be vaccinated in Rampur, 110 in Purvakhola, 125 in Rambha, 90 in Baganaskali, 485 in Tansen, 111 in Ribdikot, 209 in Rainadevi Chhahara, 169 in Tinau, 191 in Mathagadhi, and 145 in Nisdi. 454 health workers and 227 volunteers will be mobilized for the vaccination campaign.
