More than 2,300 temporary voters in Banke

It has been found that there are 2,338 provisional voters in Banke district in the upcoming House of Representatives elections on February 21.

According to the number of provisional voters collected so far for voting in the proportional representation, the district has found that there are a certain number of provisional voters. 

District Election Office Chief Tek Bahadur Shahi said that according to the number collected so far in the district, a list of 2,338 provisional voters has been published. 

He said that the list was published after collecting details of security personnel working in the district, civil servants and employees under corporations, and prisoners from outside the district in prisons. 

Earlier, the Election Office had requested the number and list of provisional voters from various bodies. He said that this number will increase as the list of Nepal Police has not yet been received.

According to Office Chief Shahi, discussions are also underway to set up polling stations for provisional voters. There are 350,371 voters in Banke, while 139 polling stations and 400 polling stations have been designated.
