Kamala Kumal, who became helpless after her husband killed her newborn baby and beat her, has been sent to Kathmandu for treatment. Kamala's husband, Santa Bahadur, had beaten her after killing their three-month-old baby, Subash Kumal. Since then, Kamala has been helpless and stranded.

Kamala, who became a victim after the beating, was sent to Kathmandu Medical College for treatment. She was sent for treatment on Tuesday at the initiative of Nepali Congress Lumbini Province Vice President Bhuwan Prasad Shrestha and Congress Gulmi President and Resunga Municipality Mayor Khildhwaj Panthi and under the coordination of local people's representatives ISMA Rural Municipality Vice President Advocate Parbati Kunwar and Ward President Sher Bahadur Kunwar. The initiators and coordinators have said that action will be taken against the culprits as per the law and that there will be no shortage in the treatment of victim Kamala.

Kamala cannot stand on her left leg. Other parts of her body have also been injured from the beating. Sant Bahadur, who killed a newborn baby a week ago, is under police control. Legal proceedings have been initiated for action. As the dispute between husband and wife escalated, the police statement revealed that Santa Bahadur, who was drunk, killed his three-month-old son.

Kamala's daughter Sarita has taken her mother with her for treatment. Sher Bahadur Kunwar, ward chairman of ISMA Rural Municipality-1, said that his health will be thoroughly checked.
