Three people have been injured in an accident involving a scooter and a motorcycle in Rampur, Palpa. The scooter and motorcycle collided at the Canal Office premises near Bejhad, Rampur Municipality-5.

The accident involved a scooter (GA-A-AA-2387) coming from Ranatol in Rampur towards Bejhad Bazaar and a motorcycle (LU 93 Pa 448) coming from the opposite direction. 

The motorcycle driver, Abhash Gautam, 31, of Kisanbari, Rampur Municipality-7, the rider on the back of the same motorcycle, Govinda Kandel, 20, of Talpokhara, Rampur Municipality-6, and the scooter driver, Devraj Shahi, 55, of Bhambak, Rampur-5, were injured in the accident, according to the Area Police Office, Rampur. 

The injured were taken to Rampur Hospital for treatment. Scooter driver Shahi and motorcycle driver Gautam have been referred to Manipal Teaching Hospital Pokhara for further treatment, according to the Rampur Hospital.

Among the injured, Kandel is in a normal condition. Police have said that further investigation into the accident is underway.
