Som Prasad Pandey, a central member of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and candidate for Palpa Constituency No. 2, has said that the country will not be built under the leadership of a new party without any 'ideas' and 'ideas'.
He claimed that the parties of the world were born inspired by some ideology or principle and that they were established as long-term political parties. Targeting the new party, Pandey also said that it was not possible to develop the country by becoming the Prime Minister without a clear plan and blueprint.
‘There is either capitalism or socialism in the world.’ However, there is no ideology in the new party born in Nepal now,’ he said, ‘A Prime Minister who leads the country without any theory, strategy and plan cannot provide any solution to the country. There is no ‘ism’ in the new party.’ Leader Pandey said that the time has come for political parties and conscious voters to provide a solution to the country that is in crisis after the Genji protests.
Pandey, who went to Butwal to meet voters of Palpa-2, held a press conference in Butwal on Sunday and said that although Genji's demands and objectives were legitimate, the arson incident of Bhadra 24 had damaged the independence and freedom of the country. Pandey said that he had come to the people again as a candidate to further develop the development and prosperity of Palpa.
Stating that it has been three decades since he started his parliamentary journey from Palpa, he said that he had entered the election again to complete the unfinished work remaining in the district and introduce new plans. He also claimed that more than 300 big plans had been introduced in Palpa alone after he was elected.
Along with Pandey, Thakur Gaire of UML and Himal Dutta Shrestha of Congress are candidates in Palpa-2. Pandey, who was a candidate in 2079 BS, was supported by the Maoists and Congress. However, even then, Thakur Gaire of UML defeated him by a margin of nearly 4,000 votes. UML's Gaire won by securing 27,817 votes, while the alliance's Pandey secured 23,851 votes.
