A three-month-old baby has been murdered by his own father in Gulmi. In ISMA Rural Municipality-3, Chalditar, 46-year-old Santa Bahadur Kumal killed three-month-old baby Subash Kumal by pushing him to the ground, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi.
According to him, it has been revealed that the father killed his three-month-old son Subash Kumal around 9:30 am after getting drunk. The elder daughter Sarita Kuma had informed the police post Hastichaur about the incident.
A team of two people under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Binay Kumar Srivastava and five people led by Police Inspector Parbat Kumar KC from the District Police Office have been deployed at the scene. The father, Santa Bahadur, has admitted to killing his son Subash. The reason for this has not been revealed.
The police have said that further investigation is underway into the incident. According to the information officer of the District Police Office Gulmi, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, the initial investigation revealed that the man killed the baby after consuming alcohol during a dispute between his husband and wife.
