Traffic has been disrupted on the Daunne road section of East Nawalparasi on the East-West Highway.

The traffic has become one-way due to the slippery road due to the rain on Wednesday. According to the District Police Office, Nawalpur, since 2 pm today, traffic has been disrupted due to the inability to operate near Ghiukhola and Vishwakarma Temple in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2. More than 200 vehicles are currently stuck in the traffic jam in the Daunne section. Despite the inconvenience caused by the slippery road, vehicles from Dumkibas to Bardaghat are moving in a one-way manner. However, the traffic police have requested people to travel only after understanding the reason for the long traffic jam.

Road slope work is currently underway in Daunne on the Butwal-Narayangadh road section, which is under expansion. In Daunne, traffic has been disrupted due to the slippery road even during thick fog and normal rain.
