The weather has turned cloudy in eastern and western Nawalparasi with moderate rainfall. The cold has increased after sudden rains since Wednesday morning.

Due to the influence of the westerly wind, the sky was covered with clouds since morning, and it has been raining since afternoon. The rain has brought relief to farmers of winter crops such as wheat and lentils. Brick traders have been the most affected by this rain. 

Businessman Krishna Prasad Sharma said that the problem arose after it rained at the time when raw bricks were to be prepared and fired. 

According to the Water and Meteorological Forecasting Division, 1.4 millimeters of rain has fallen in Kawasoti of East Nawalparasi. Rain has fallen in most places in East and West Nawalparasi.
