The 10th Lumbini Province-level Exhibition will be held from 14th to 18th of this Magh. The Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal Banke has been organizing the exhibition in Nepalgunj every year with the aim of marketing, publicizing and promoting the goods and materials produced by women entrepreneurs.
The chairwoman of the organizer, Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal Banke, Revati Singh, said that this exhibition is proving to be important in attracting women towards entrepreneurship.
The 10th edition of the Lumbini Province-level Exhibition will be held at the park in the Bageshwori Temple complex in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City 2. The exhibition, which is being held with the financial support of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City and the main purpose of KL Dugad, will involve the participation of about 200 women entrepreneurs from 12 districts of Lumbini Province, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, said Abha Gautam, exhibition coordinator and first vice-chairwoman of Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal Banke.
The exhibition, which will have around 70 stalls, will showcase agricultural products, handicrafts, food products, silk and dhaka fabrics, floriculture, indigenous products, food and snacks, cosmetics and jewelry, among others, for sale and promotion, said Bindu Chartimagar, general secretary of the Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal Banke.
The exhibition is providing an opportunity for new entrepreneurs to learn, said Saraswati Sharma, central member of the Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal and Lumbini Province President. Savitra Pokharel Basnet, outgoing president of the Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal Banke, said that the exhibition is producing new entrepreneurs every year.
Free arrangements have been made to view the Lumbini Province-level Exhibition-2082, which has a budget of around Rs 600,000. During the exhibition, an orientation program on banking transactions and entrepreneurship will also be organized in the presence of experts to enhance the capacity of women entrepreneurs. l
