Independent candidates for the House of Representatives in West Nawalparasi have received election symbols ranging from mango to dhiki-janto. Independent candidate Umashankar Kharbind of Constituency No. 2 has chosen the mango election symbol. Manoj Harijan has chosen the dustbin election symbol, while Suresh Teli has chosen the dhiki symbol.

In Constituency No. 1, Aliyam Miyale has been given the pomegranate and Shatrudhan Chaudhary has been given the millstone election symbol, according to the Office of the Returning Officer, Bardaghat. 

There are 12 independent candidates in Constituency No. 2 and 11 in Constituency No. 1 in the district. Out of 57 candidates, two have had their candidacies rejected. 

After receiving the election symbol, the parties and independent candidates have said that they are preparing campaign materials for the election and making an action plan for door-to-door campaigns.
