98 candidates registered their candidacies in 3 constituencies of Kapilvastu

A total of 98 people have registered their nominations in the three constituencies of the district. In Constituency No. 1, 34 people have registered their nominations, including 20 from parties and 14 independents.

In Constituency No. 2, 28 candidates have registered their nominations, including 17 from the party and 11 independent candidates. In Constituency No. 3, 36 candidates have registered their candidacies, including 13 from the party and 23 independent candidates.

Nominations were registered in Constituency No. 3 by 9 pm. There are 396,265 voters in the district, which has 3 constituencies.

Heavyweights change parties and nominate

Former UML central member Brijesh Kumar Gupta has registered his nomination from the Nepali Communist Party in Constituency No. 2. Similarly, Birendra Kumar Kanodia, a former Lumbini Provincial Assembly member from the Nepali Congress, has registered his nomination from Constituency No. 3. Similarly, Congress leader Bikram Singh Thapa has registered his nomination from the National Independent Party in Constituency No. 2. Similarly, Congress youth leader Ashish Sharma has registered his nomination from Constituency No. 1 has registered an independent candidacy.

Change of candidate after not reaching the age limit

Janmat Party has changed its candidate after not reaching the age limit. Shyam Prakash Sah, who was nominated by the party from Constituency No. 2, changed his candidate two months before reaching the age of 25. Shyam Prakash had reached the main election office along with his party. Murali Kurmi of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-7 has registered his nomination after not reaching the age limit.
