A total of 62 candidates have registered for the House of Representatives seat in Dang, including 14 candidates in Constituency No. 1, 23 in Constituency No. 2, and 25 in Constituency No. 3.

This time, most of the candidates are new. There are 19 young candidates under the age of 40. This is 30.6 percent of the total candidates. Of which, there are three in Constituency No. 1, seven in Constituency 2, and nine in Constituency 3. Candidates between the ages of 26 and 69 have filed their nominations.

This time, the number of new candidates is large. Out of 62, there are 49 new candidates. This is 79 percent of the total number of candidates. Among the candidates, there are 6 old and 8 new in Constituency No. 1. There are 2 old and 21 new in Constituency No. 2. There are 5 old and 20 new candidates in Constituency No. 3.

There are 2 female candidates in Constituency No. 2 and 3 in Constituency No. 3. There is no single female candidate in Constituency No. 1, informed Election Officer Krishna Prasad Nepal.

Bishnukumari Bhusal and Kalpana Lama have filed their candidacies independently in Constituency No. 2. In Constituency No. 3, Kamala GC of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Shobha Dangi of the Janata Samajwadi Party, and Pandi Nepali of the Aam Janata Party are in the fray.
