A worker working at the Samrat Cement Industry in Lamahi Municipality-7 died after being buried under a mound of mud on Monday.

Arvind Chaudhary, 36, of Kamanpur, Lamahi Municipality-7, died after being buried in a landslide. Shankar Chaudhary of Hasnapur, Lamahi Municipality-7, was injured in the incident. He was referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment after receiving primary treatment at Lamahi Hospital.

Chaudhary died after being buried in a landslide while digging a large pit for an industrial power plant. The district police have informed that further investigation into the incident is underway.
