An election office has been established for Kavre's constituencies No. 1 and 2 for the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.
The Election Office of Constituency No. 1 has been established at the Panauti Municipality office in Ward No. 4 of Panauti Municipality in Kavre and the Election Office of Constituency No. 2 has been established at the Education Training Center in Ward No. 6 of Dhulikhel Municipality.
Chief Election Officer Prem Prasad Neupane inaugurated the Election Office of Constituency No. 1. Chief District Judge Matrika Prasad Acharya inaugurated the Election Office of Constituency No. 2. The office of the Chief Election Officer is located in this building. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Chief District Judge Matrika Prasad Acharya said that everyone's support, cooperation and collaboration are necessary to conduct the election in a fair and dignified manner.
Similarly, Chief Election Officer Prem Prasad Neupane said that the main objective of the Election Office is to have as many voters as possible participate in the election and as few votes as possible are invalid. He said that political parties will have a key role in this. ‘The Election Commission has an independent role in this,’ he said, ‘political parties are the main players in the election.’
Chief District Officer Gopal Kumar Adhikari said that everyone has an equal role to play in creating an environment where everyone can participate spontaneously in a fair and fear-free environment. He said that all political parties have been urged to conduct the election in the district in an orderly and dignified manner. For this, he informed that an integrated security plan has been made in the district and security agencies have been mobilized.
