The number of people taking boat rides on the artificial lake built by damming the river during the Maghi Mela is increasing. On the first day itself, 693 people took boat rides on Thursday.

Investor Sundar Bhandari said that the total income from boating on the first day was Rs 27,900 at a rate of Rs 300 per person. The fee was for two trips on the lake, which is around 10/12 minutes.

On Friday, the ticket fee was reduced. Since there was a lot of crowd, only one trip was used, so the fee was also reduced to Rs 200 per person. Even now, there is a crowd of boaters on the lake.

To attract tourists, local youths have built a lake by damming the river in Ridi. Eight local youths have built the lake with their own investment, focusing on the Maghi Mela.

Ravilal Pantha, Narayan Gyawali, Ram Prasad Gyawali, Bishnu Nepal, Sundar Bhandari, Vijay Kaliraj, Pashupati Gautam and Humnath Gyawali are going to build the lake with an investment of Rs 10 million.

Two jet boats (boats) have been put into operation. The petrol-powered boat has a capacity of 11 tourists.

It is 400 meters long, 60 meters wide and 4 meters deep in the initial stage.

The recently constructed three-sided bridge at Rurukshetradham, the confluence of Gulmi, Palpa and Syangja, has also contributed to the development of tourism along with ease of travel.
