One person has died after a bus and a motorcycle collided in Dang. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Bishal Chaudhary of Kolhi, Lamahi Municipality-5, according to the District Police Office, Dang.
The motorcycle driver died when a bus (Lu 2 Kha 1098) going from Lamahi to Rihar collided with a motorcycle (Lu 39 Pa 8961) going from Rihar to Lamahi. The bus also overturned after the collision. The bus passengers, Mina Thakuri and Shila Pariyar, residents of Rapti Rural Municipality-4, and motorcycle riders Ashok Chaudhary and Sushil Oli, residents of Kolhi, Lamahi Municipality-5, and the bus owner, were injured.
The injured are being treated at Lamahi Hospital. The bus driver has been taken into custody by the police.
