The tourist infrastructure built alongside the Buddhist stupa at Bharse Deurali has increased the number of tourists. The number of tourists visiting Bharse Deurali has increased in recent times.

In Satyawati Rural Municipality-8, Bharse, a Buddhist stupa and tourist infrastructure have been built at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore with the active participation of locals. Bharse, which is located at an altitude of 2,108 meters above sea level, has recently seen an increase in the number of external and internal tourists.

Local leader Naru Budhathoki said that the Bharseli Society Hong Kong, Bharseli Society UK, Bharseli Society Terai Region, Bharseli Society Kathmandu and neighbors have provided financial support for the construction of the stupa. The local government and the Tourism Office Bhairahawa have also invested Rs 2.5 million in this.

Kul Bahadur Budhathoki, a retired British Army lieutenant who currently lives in Hong Kong and is also the architect of the construction of the Buddhist stupa, has provided Rs 1.5 million alone. With his help, Bharse Deurali has been developed as a tourist destination.

Although the number of tourists is not recorded, local leader Budhathoki said that an average of around 35 tourists have entered during public holidays in the last two years and around 15 tourists daily.

From Bharse Deurali, one can enjoy the magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges in the north, as well as Gulmi, Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi, Palpa and Syangja.
