The Election Office has stated that there are only four gender and sexual minority voters in the district. There were two such voters in the 2079 House of Representatives elections, but this has now increased to four.
The district has 18,033 more voters than the 2079 House of Representatives election for the upcoming 2082 election. There are 396,265 voters in the district for the upcoming election on Falgun 21. Of these, 211,846 are men, 184,415 are women, and 4 are gender and sexual minority voters.
There were 378,232 voters in the 2079 House of Representatives election. District Election Officer Kamal Prasad Bhusal said that 18,033 voters who came to the election office after the 2079 House of Representatives election, those who registered at the election office after the 2082 election was announced, and those who registered from outside the district have been added. Similarly, he said that 163 people have died and their names have been removed from the voter list.
