Duduwa Rural Municipality of Banke has secured the first position in the district in the index of health programs. Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City is at the bottom, according to the Health Office, Banke.
Duduwa Rural Municipality has come first in Banke by scoring 79.36 percent out of a total of 100 points, including 90 points obtained from 32 different indicators and 10 points provided by the Health Office.
Janaki Rural Municipality has come second in the health index by scoring 75.21 percent, while Khajura Rural Municipality has come third by scoring 71.97 percent.
According to the Health Office, Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality is fourth, Narainapur Rural Municipality is fifth, Baijanath Rural Municipality is sixth, Kohalpur Municipality is seventh, and Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City is eighth.

He said that the performance of Duduwa, Janaki and Khajura was excellent when evaluated based on all indices and suggested that other municipalities should also improve their performance and move forward.
The health department chief of Duduwa rural municipality, Sitaram Chaudhary, health department chief of Janaki rural municipality, Dal Bahadur Rana, and health department chief of Khajura rural municipality, Laxmi Oli, who excelled in performance, were honored by Lumbini Province Health Minister Khem Bahadur Saru, Nepalgunj Mayor Prashant Bista, Lumbini Province Health Secretary Durga Laxmi Shrestha, among others.
